The World Community of Geological Surveys (WCOGS) will aim to hold a minimum of one virtual activity or event per year that will be open to all associate organizations with no registration fee. While in-person events may be held as part of major conferences, WCOGS will aim to make all events virtually accessible to all associates at minimum cost.

The European Geosciences Union (EGU) will take place in Austria and online, from 14-19 April 2024.

The purpose of the EGU General Assembly 2024 will bring together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences.
